Well, some of you may not know this, but the club has been in discussions with Venture Vehicles in regards to obtaining an "officially licensed" status from them. The admins have known about all of this, but today is the day that I can finally announce it to the general membership.

I just got off the phone with Scot today. He had called me pertaining to the club being "officially licensed" and providing "officially licensed" products. Guess what?

cl:ap)1:whoohoo:WE HAVE BEEN APPROVED! :whoohoo:cl:ap)1

Scot discussed this matter with Ian Bruce and the Venture Vehicles team, and we have now been approved to be "officially licensed". The contract will be signed next week, and will give us all a little something *extra* to be thankful for this Thanksgiving.

We can now celebrate something that we have been waiting a LONG time for! =y:

Well done. Congratulations to Derwin and everyone else who worked on this.

So what exactly does this mean for the club? What do we get out of the agreement, and what does VV get? Can you post details?

It's very cool to find this site / club! I to have been developing a tilt vehicle for about two years. I knew nothing of Venture or even the Carver. I thought I was the first, how dumb is that! I started researching to perpare for patent pending and wow. I just put tilting into my browser and there it all was. My concept is very simular but with some very differant points. and some drives that I can't belive no one even talks about. Hydro/Gyro/ Hydrogyro.

The contract is supposed to be signed this week sometime. I'll post what is appropriate at the proper time, if it is allowable by Venture Vehicles. I don't see a problem with it, but I just want to make sure I'm not violating any kind of protocols.

Dave,

Welcome to the club! wel;co;m;e101))

I'm really glad that you found us and decided to join. Your project sound incredibly fascinating, and we would like to know more about it. Actually, if you want to share your ideas with us, we would be willing to create an entire forum within this club dedicated to your project. In this forum you could post photos, sketches, and other information that you would like to share, and we can discuss all of the aspects of your project. We have a large amount of very intelligent people in this club, and I think it would be not only good for you to get some feedback, but also very exciting for the club members.

If you have any questions at all, please feel free to contact on of the administrators. Again, welcome to the club!

Well, I just received the contract from Scot today, and read through the entire thing. I can't divulge all that is in the contract, but I can say that the club will now be able to offer officially authorized products using the company name and image. This is a great benefit to the club, in my opinion.

There are some exciting new developments coming, not only with the club, but with the company as well. Stay tuned!

As many of you already know, the club has been working on a contract with Persu Mobility to receive an officially licensed status. Well, after a few modifications to the contract, we have finally SIGNED IT. It is a done deal, and the club now has official licensing privileges!

We are now officially authorized to use the Persu Mobility name and logo, as well as their "Fly The Road" trademark.....

http://i708.photobucket.com/albums/ww87/FlyTheRoadClub/PersuBanner.jpg

http://i708.photobucket.com/albums/ww87/FlyTheRoadClub/PersuHybrid.jpg

Now we need the help of all members to come up with some basic "Club Gear" that touts our officially licensed status. I was thinking of making some embroidered baseball caps and, of course, my ever so popular coffee mugs!

But I need some DESIGN IDEAS for the baseball caps, which I think is one of the FIRST items we will produce. Please give us suggestions on how the baseball cap should look.

Also, if you have any new and exciting ideas for items that you want the club to consider, please post them to this thread. We are looking for anything that you think will represent the company and the club in a good light using the club logo, the club shield, the company "P" logo, name, etc., or any combination.

So, please help us out. If we go with a design or idea that you posted to this thread, you will get the item absolutely FREE OF CHARGE as a "thank you" for helping us out!

Derwin, this is a really encouraging development! Thanks for all your dedicated energy
helping to bring this about. We may want to ask C. Flyer to change the "V" badge to
a "P" badge on the sheild rendering. Those of us with the original can consider them
collectors items.....I'm finally getting accustomed to the Persu brand name and may
have some time in the near future to do some design work thanks to the stupid economy! I'm not exactly holding my breath till the "P1" hits the market, but I haven't
given up on the dream either. I'm still here! And any day above ground and verticle is a good day!
Curves Ahead!

I'd like to see a nice blue ballcap with the P symbol prominent and Hybrid in smaller letters under and to the right of the P embroidered on it.

I'm trying to come up with various items that will incorporate the Persu name and logo with the club name somehow. I don't exactly know how we can design this, but if anybody has any ideas, please post them here.

I was thinking something simple like this embroidered on the front of a ball cap. And I would like to have a water bottle with that and the club shield
797

Maybe on the back of the cap we could have FlyTheRoadClub.com in an arc over the hole in the back of the hat? So you have something coming and going so to speak.

Or if that doesn't fly Have FlyTheRoadClub.com in white under the above.

Now that we our officially licensed, what was the word, if any, about club logo challenge coins we discussed? You can PM me if you don't want to let the cat out of the bag yet!

Just a 'word of caution', before someone sinks too much money into NEW PROJECTS; why don't we W..A..I..T until there is some 'Official Word' from Persu Mobility. We are all WAITING already. Speaking of which, when is the 'First On-Line Podcast Interview' scheduled? The 'Official License Agreement' should still be in effect when PM decides and actually builds something that runs under its own power. With the complete change of the propulsion system, and no demonstration of even a running prototype (in the last 6 months), they may have to make changes to the chassis, frame, and perhaps body panels. Heck, the 'New Guys' might even change the body style, or end up with a 2F1R design.

Also before putting too many new 'irons in the fire', how about finishing the 'OLD PROJECTS'? What is the status on the RC Model, the Paper Cut-Out, or the Cast Metal Model?

We have been specifically told to put the r/c project on hold, as well as any other models of the vehicle. So, as of now, we do not have any "old projects" to finish.

Oops, sorry, I must have 'missed' the 'Official On-Hold' notificationdu:n:n:o(; but that still translates as 'un-finished' to me. Does that mean that future 'suggestions' should AVOID any renderings of the Persu Hybrid, until the design is 'finalized' and 'approval' given?no:wor:thy1

We were specifically told to STOP development/production of the r/c model, as well as any other models of the Persu Hybrid. We discussed this in the admin area, and I thought I left a notice for the general membership, but I may be mistaken. At any rate, we are no longer allowed to work on any of those projects.

When they do get a final design (if they don't have one already), then we may get the green light. But until then, we have been told to cease all activity.

If the R/C Model of the V1/P1 is stopped, why donīt we go ahead and make a R/C Carver One first?

I am into R/C models myself and would agree to set up the tilting/steering mechanism if somebody else would do the bodywork!

I think an exact replica of the Carver in an r/c model would be incredibly exciting to create.

LOL! Good point! Since Persu Mobility pulled the plug on our PM r/c project, I guess I better not start a Carver project without getting the green light first from them.

Being "...specifically told to STOP development/production of the r/c model, as well as any other models of the Persu Hybrid..." causes me to 'anticipate' that the resulting design by investors will not be or look like much of what we love and want. Every 'new information release' puts more doubt and concern regarding "design by committee" resulting in anything I would be interested in.

I have just about decided to take a V1 vacation as it looks more like the V1 is dead, dead, dead. I really do not see what you eternal optimists base your exulting enthusiasm on. There has been absolutely NOTHING in the last six months that gives credence to an optimistic result from P.

Well, I just shot out an email to Carver in Europe. I explained to them who we are, and what we are all about. I also explained our desire to design and develop a remote control vehicle based on the CarverOne.

Hopefully they will get back to us with approval of this project.

All we can do now is wait and see.
