OUCH! DId you see that steering wheel sandwich? Guess you never thought there was more than one reason that a person would need dentures.
This is the biggest reason small cars haven't and probably wont ever, make it in the US as the main mode of transportation. Sad but...well you saw the video and that was at 40km/h (thats 25mph). Imagine getting t-boned from a vehicle going 40-50mph. It would literally rip through one of these.
I realize that "most" of these vehicles are only allowed on 25mph or slower roads but some are attempting to make it onto interstates. And technically, it doesnt matter how fast YOU go in one of these things, its the other drivers that you really need to worry about as speed limits dont stop anyone from driving like an idiot.
So I guess my first mod, if I ever bought one of these, would be to put in a roll cage, 5-point harness, and a race seat. Maybe even some of those hazard lights too so no one will miss me driving around town. Then, probably an ejection seat that goes off automatically when a vehicle gets too close :)
