Greetings fellow Persu enthusiasts!
I am very happy to announce that we now have an "official" Club Broadcast which will inform, entertain, and hopefully be useful for all Persu Hybrid enthusiasts.
In this official club broadcast we will be having interviews with officials from the company, as well as many other items of interest. As you know, this club is primarily about our interest in the Persu Hybrid vehicle they are working on, but we also like to discuss many other subjects, including, but not limited to, various hybrid and clean tech that is on the horizon.
We plan on having our first LIVE broadcast in the coming few weeks.
These broadcasts will not simply be "blogs" or "posts" to some forum. This will be a LIVE VOICE BROADCAST containing VOICE interviews with various people. It should be a lot of fun!
You will be able to subscribe to our LIVE broadcast through most any RSS feed service, as well as with iTunes.
You can log on to the LIVE Broadcast here: http://www.blogtalkradio.com/FlyTheRoad-Club-Live
As most of you already know, the CLUB is a private enterprise, but has a contract pending with Persu Mobility for "Official" licensing.
It's an exciting time here at the club, and we hope you join in on the fun.
Thanks.
Official Club Press Secretary

We are hoping to get Scot Keller on our first broadcast show, and thought it would be really neat to get together a bunch of questions for the interview.
If you have something that you are just dying to ask Scot, please post it here. I'll then compile all the questions, and use the best ones for the interview. I can't promise that yours will be one used, but you can at least try to get it in!
So, please post your questions below, and then wait to see if it is actually used in our first LIVE broadcast.

I think one of the questions that should be asked is, "Has production began in Detroit as stated by Ian on that site you found?" "If not do they at least have a fully operational prototype not just a Carver one?"

Just wondering, it would be interesting to "see" how many times the broadcast has been played--can you "add" a counter?
On another note, have a great holiday season--everyone!
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!!!!

Good work, Derwin!
Now, some questions for Scott:
1) What made you decide to go work for Persu Mobility?
2) With regards to the rollout, it has been stated that the first year's production (and maybe the second years? Don't remember for sure) will be limited to California. Are you actually restricting it to California residents only, or will people from other states still be able to swoop in and buy one?
3) Can you give us one concrete example of a component of the Persu Hybrid that has been finalized, and is different or unique to the Persu, as opposed to the Carver One?
4) How closely has Carver been working with Persu Mobility on the Persu Hybrid?
5) Is a serial Hybrid (and EV) drivetrain still in the works, or has it been indefinitely shelved?
6) Related to the serial hybrid question, what's your take on in-wheel hub motors, like those from PML FlightLink (that Ian Bruce hinted they were looking at early in the Persu's development cycle)?
7) With car companies going in the tank left and right these days, how are you hoping to convince investors to fund the next round of financing in Persu Mobility?
8) Speaking of Persu Mobility, any chance of the name being tweaked to Persu Motors, or Persu Motor Company, or something else similar? Please?
9) Any ideas yet on what the maintenance cycle will be on the Persu Hybrid?
10) Are you still going with a RotaMax engine, or someone else? Are there any engine specs available?
11) Are you planning on any fuel-efficient specific technologies to be used in the Persu Hybrid (apart from the obvious hybrid battery!), like direct injection, auto-engine-off at stop lights, &etc?
6)

Oh yeah, and one more:
Has an Alpha actually rolled on its own power yet? If so, I owe someone a mug!

Good questions, waboom! I'll be sure to add some of these to the list when we have our next LIVE broadcast.
Actually, when we get the date set for the broadcast with Scot, we may set it up so people can call-in LIVE and ask questions directly to Scot on the air. I think this would really be great.
Anyway, I'll keep everybody updated.

Some more question for Scot-
Is the information on the FTR website accurate?
Why doesn't the company moderate the forums there?
Has Persu Mobility decided to withdraw from the X Prize competion?
When will we see a running prototype or preproduction vehicle?
Are the IGES files we have still current? Can we get an update?
Is the first years run of vehicles still going to be built in Detroit by Roush?
What are the companys current plans for dealerships or service centers?
Miracleman89

that would be Roush!

Hummm. Lots of Questions and no Answers yet. Is "FlyTheRoadClub LIVE" just another good idea that died due to no input from VV/PU?
What is the current status?

Well, you pretty much have it correct. There is no news right now. But officials at the company have promised to be on the radio broadcast when they have some new information to announce. I'm actually looking forward to this. We can set it up for people to CALL IN and ask questions while we are on the air. It should be pretty interesting!
But when that will take place....I don't know. du:n:n:o(
