We are going to have a little informal Poll on the current design from the Survey. Since this seems to be the two current design goals we are going to keep it at that for now.
A design:
121
B Design:
122

I picked B simply because it looks longer and more roomy in back. Throughout the survey I stressed that I am down-sizing from a car instead of upsizing from a motorcycle. Passenger comfort is important to me.
I put the two pictures together in one file and found that there is more headroom in A than B. It's only longer in the power pod and where the spoiler is - not the passenger compartment. Just my observation.

B is the way!! I can see it running down the the airways in Blade Runner. I also liked the lower windows on the concept.
My big problem with A is the fron end between the fairring and the cab of the vehical should be strait. But the way they have it setup looks strainge with the dip before the windshield. One other problem i don't much like is the tail light being on the cab of the vehical I can just see drivers behind the V1 getting mesmerized by the movment back and forth of me throwing is threw some curves on running over me. The lights should be placed on the engine pod and place a 3rd break light on the cab. just my 2 cents

B has really grown on me and I was glad to see they removed that lower glass section and mad it more a solid piece. I still don't like the wave in the window sill and I miss the canard wings! ;)

I hope the lower clear section on the door is an option... I want it on mine I think it will give me a more connected with the outside kind of Look. My wife would go for it on her V1 as well. (if I were to guess it wouldn't be glass in that panel but a clear body acrylic panel like my motorcycle windscreen... same material as the rest of the skin but no dye in it)

Well I guess that would be ok. I personally think it looks weird and wouldn't care for it! But everyone I am sure will want something different, that is what makes us all unique.

I was wondering if the Canard wings added extra downforce on the front wheel. At speed it might be a good thing? Just wondering. I love canard aircraft as they give excellent forward view and ride quality.
I also think the Canards compliment the rear wing appearance and makes it appear as a more functional thought? ;)

Heck yeah hardtime!!!!!!!! I loved the canard wings!!!! I was starting think I was the only one!!! especially when everyone in the forum were knocking them! I am glad to see I wasn't the only one!

I'd want to see some windtunnel tests first ... even with the rear little winglet. If it screws with the flow of air in a negative manner (eats up mileage for coolness)... I wouldn't want it ... If it helps then by all means.

I opt for the "B" design.
Simply love that expansive glass cockpit; a clear lower section would really put me over the moon!

I think the canard wings have got to help in some way. I think they would operate similiar to a splitter. Forcing the air to go where it needs to inorder for better grip and cornering I mean for an exagerated splitter look at the suzuki pike's peak escudo. It isn't exagerated for that vehicle but it is rather large!

I agree. If the canards and rear "wing" don't interfere with aerodynamics I'm all for them!
We need more voters! :-)

Why does it seem like there are more people who are cool with the canard wings now then there was when he first released the images??? Maybe I just missed some stuff, but to me it seemed like everyone was jumping on them saying they were dumb looking and over the top.
Miracleman, I don't save my posts, but I know when they 1st showed us the new drawings, I picked the early D version with the canards. They did take some fire though :RADAR:
I want from the mirrors forward of the B with the mirrors back from the A. I think that would be a little closer to the original design idea.

I picked 'A', but really the aesthetics are less important than getting it made. I'll still buy one even if they go with 'B'...

I think B is hot... and it would be smoking with the lower clear panel in the door and some black chrome wheels and a two tone color job.;)
Oh yeah.... and it would be really excellent if certain body panels were easily changed out for other colors (we Geminis have a hard time settling, lol).
Hey.... design A is gaining fast.... what a Revolting Development!

Although I like the look of Design B better, I chose Design A simply because there is no head room in Design B for the back seat.
BTW, If they put the lower glass as an option for Design B there will be little chance the upper window would be able to roll down.

RAN- Good to know I am not the only one here of two minds about everything. (Geminis)
Camel- actually after doing a lot play with the images and altering the pics I found that the window would roll down. I just don't care for the lower glass panel. I mean to each there own and all but I do like the idea of making it an option. After all many people seem to like them. I will not get that option but other might. Same goes for the canard wings, if it is an option I will get it but others might not.

Looking at this image, I just can not see how it would be able to roll down.

I love this design and the look they went for with it, I just don't see it being nearly as practical as the other option. As I plan to use this as an every day commute vehicle having functional windows, more room for a passenger and storage space become more important then just style. Both are great looking vehicles and I would buy either one.

In case you missed it ... this was posted by Ian (black letters other users were quoted in blue letters)on 12/01/2007
AZEqualizer: I like the transparent panels too -- it's a bit like a helicopter in terms of additional visibility while turning.
Miracleman90: "well I noticed alot of people are talking about rims, so how about this one:
http://www.tiresdelivered.com/HE35722904215.htm?Helo+F3
Miracleman89: NIce. We may be doing a custom cast design since we'll want to match the cycle (front) and car rims (rear). I like this direction though.
Hardtime11: 'I personally like the Concept C 101607 version. It just looks the best visibility and most sturdy cruiser of all the designs.
I could go with the refined Version of the C 110807 as it looks pretty clean and functional. It looks good in any of the profile views.
The Concept "D" just looks like ti would have some serious visibility issues like only seeing about 1/2-2/3 of the side view mirrors. It also looks like the side windows are non functional or not fully opening. I do like the wheels on the "D". "
Hardtime11: The side windows on "D" open fully.

OOOooooo helicopter windows.... Mmmmm. Maybe some hard points for some fog-lights. ;)

I'm a fan of the lower windows. I agree with Ian that they give more to the aircraft look, and any extra visibility is helpful. At the same time, I can understand not having them if they'll interfere with the ability to lower the driver windows. Oh, and the canards should definitely be included if they prove valuable in providing more downward force for the front wheel. Just my $.02.

Shouldn't be a problem getting the windows down on the D model with the clear lower panel... looks like enough room in color panel area.

I also prefer the look of the lower window pannels. I don't however think the cannards will make it to production, and I'm kind of glad for it. Don't need something protruding from your car at shin height.
