I've still often wondered what Ian was up to now.....
And check on the Rotavi site often to see if he has got it going.

I found this post supposedly by Ian at http://www.autobloggreen.com/2009/04/23/eestor-comes-up-with-an-earth-day-announcement-its-a-huge-mi/

So I guess he is still interested in technology related to storage of electricity... like electric drive vehicles would need.

Sorry, I wasn't able to start my own thread so I put it here.

That's actually not a lot of ifs. Even so, if each one was a coin toss -- that is:

Permittivity at high EFs,
Stability at high voltage,
Manufacturability,
Stability over time, and
Temperature resistance,

... it works out to just over a 3% chance of complete success (.5 x .5 x .5 x .5 x .5). I hope they have some of these items nailed down already. I want to see this succeed.

I've heard that Ian is still checking in on the development of the Persu Hybrid, although not involved in the day to day operations anymore.

But if you miss Ian (and we all do!), you can always go to this thread . . .

We've all had a bit of fun with this! hy:per1)
