ETVMotors -micro-turbine range extender

Autoblogreen (http://www.autobloggreen.com/2009/04/26/etvmotors-announces-funding-for-range-extended-ev-w-micro-turbin/) reported that ETV Motors (http://etvmotors.com) has been working on a powertrain for range extended EVs that features a micro-turbine to drive the generator. ETV announcement that it has closed a round of venture funding this week and collected $12 million in funding from The Quercus Trust of Newport Beach, California and New York-based 21Ventures.

aww it's so cute. sorry but that is nothing compared to what jay leno has under construction in his garage. there are several videos on the Ecojet concept but here is the one where they actually fire the thing up. :cool:
