I have been thinking about this Open Source Vehicle Project, and what came to my mind very strongly is that we all need to BE CREATIVE and come up with an entirely new concept. Now, don't get me wrong, I think that the members of this club are some of the MOST creative and imaginative people on the planet! But I just thought it would be good to emphasis this.

As of now, it seems that ziggy and WarpedOne are coming up with some nice designs already. I would suggest, though, that we STAY AWAY from any design that is basing itself on the IGES files of the Persu Hybrid. Since we already have a company that is obviously working very hard making the Persu Hybrid, I think it's kind of futile to spend our time making a "back-alley" knock-off!

So, for future reference.... Please do NOT post anymore photos, diagrams, CAD screen captures, or anything else that have been based on the IGES files that Ian provided us.

Again, we want to be CREATIVE and come up with some projects that are NEW and INNOVATIVE. And, hopefully, something that we can slap together in our garage!

If anybody has any questions, please feel free to contact me.

Thanks.

Now, RAN, what would make you think that? 457gfhdfghd334

I see your point and just to clarify I used the Iges for length and dimensions only as a comparison for folks to see the size differences. Never intended to use the Carver or Pursu exact or even mildly modified shape for my design. :)

I always knew this, zig. It was obvious.... to me, at least.

Your doing a great job, and I know that all of the members appreciate seeing what you come up with next.

I'm looking forward to seeing the continued development of your design.
