Two things,
The Genset is a workable option for the drive. and there is no excess heat under no load. When a generator is unloaded is simply turns freely and thus does not load the engine driving it. The only thing that would happen is the voltage will rise a bit. but not anything that the a motor controler woudn't be able to handle. The engin would all so speed up but the regulator on the engine counters and regulates the engin speed in order to keep the HZ (Frequence) in check... the only bad thing is all the extra weight of the generator. And the effency loss.
Willard any ideas on getting an out of the crate Hayabusa? Not that I would want to use a screamer on a new design... but it might be funn to look at? Never know where it leads? ThinK SLOW Blast, my friend...
