Translation of the article by Google:

The global recession has demanded a new victim in car country.
The quirky Dutch-based Carver Europe has claimed bankruptcy.
Carver Europe is the organization responsible for the production, sales and the warranty of the self tilting tricycles. There are still parts for about a hundred cars, which were assembled in Germany.

Wim Verheul, director of DVC Technologies, confirms the sad news: "The Carver (http://74.125.77.132/translate_c?hl=nl&sl=nl&tl=en&u=http://www.autoweek.nl/rijimpressie.php%3Fid%3D174&prev=hp&rurl=translate.google.com&usg=ALkJrhiisKN2cTLWoYOj6Yi_HNAo7Ed9Pw) with his price of 45,000 to 55,000 euros a rather cyclical car. We expected to sell 500 a year, but because of the recession the number turned out to be much lower. The lack of orders has been affecting our brand."

The company has the patents for the technology over into an engineering division, which have been saved from bankruptcy: "We are working on several interesting projects. For example, a tilting quad (to put an end to the difficult driving behavior of these quads). Furthermore, we are working on an ambulance with our tilting mechanism. This should ensure that the patient not be ejected in the bends. For these projects we quickly need an investor" said Wim Verheul (CEO).

Thanks for publishing.

What does this mean for Carver owners? Who will take over part supply, support and coverage for the existing vehicles?

Will there be a Carver One production line in the future?

Rolling chassis please!! That means that they will be selling/leasing their DVC Technologies.

I believe the DVC technology is owned by another company.

Zig, see article in post 1 by RK. Apparently they (Carver Europe) have transfered patent ownership to another engineering division, which will not be involved in their bankruptcy.
