I just received this new video from Ben Werner of Revolution Motors.

This is there "Proof of Concept" promo film.

I like the open design. Just dont forget to put on your goggles and anti-bug (anti Mexican-flue) mouthpiece when you go for a spin.

I cant help imagining the late MJ in his usual attire driving it, hair loose in the wind singing YOU KNOW I'M BAD BAD REALLY REALLY BAD... YEEEEAH

Dutchy, this is just the PROOF OF CONCEPT prototype. It's NOT how the body will actually be designed.

The actual vehicle will NOT be open like that!

Just thought I should let you know before you get too excited!

Actually, RM was planning on making the 1st vehicle an open-air, single-seat model, figuring they could get them on the market a year ahead of the 2 seat Dagne with the full body.

That's not what I heard, but I'll check with him again.

Where did you read that, RAN? Do you have a link?

Either way, though, I think it would be a nice vehicle to have. Although I don't think it would be very good with no windshield!

I'm sorry... But that is not a video in my book. That is a presentation of still photos with a little music. Not exciting in the least. I might show it at a trade show booth just to get people to maybe ask a question. But that's about it. o:o:p:s12

Yep. That's all it is. If you wanted to see the actual VIDEOS of the Dagne, I have them posted also.

This was just something new that they created as a sort of slide show for the vehicle, that's all.

In looking at the Persu Hybrid and Dagne images at the top of the FTRC's website.......does it imply that Dagne is an open design vehicle causing some confusion about the body design and progress compared to The Persu or should RM's Concept drawing of Dagne be used in it's place. Just a thought and probably should be whatever image Ben and Company want to use to represent Dagne.

Well, if you go to the Dagne website, you will see that they had an idea of releasing an "open air" design in the initial launch. So that banner showing Ben riding in the "Proof of Concept" model may be closer to reality than you think!


Just a thought and probably should be whatever image Ben and Company want to use to represent Dagne.

I'm sure Ben is very happy with the image on our home page!

I wasn't being critical! I also didn't mean to say Ben was unhappy for all I know that's the photo he wanted you to use! My question was simply is it confusing for someone who wasn't familiar with Dagne's Enclosed Body Style Concept Drawing eg. Dutchy. Maybe the concept drawing isn't even close to what RM"s vision is for Dagne! Apparently the answer is no! I'm happy with what's on your home page!
