So I'll start this one off here. My initial thought was to buy a Persu Mobility but then that got delayed and if / when it makes it to market it'll likely be a few years. So I started looking at the Carver One either when they brought it to the states or getting one imported somehow, but then they started bankruptcy and that became unlikely again anytime soon. The Revolution Motors Dagne look's like it could be an option but again it's likely not going to be anytime soon. Any of these options is at least 18 - 24 months out and thats if everything goes smoothly. Given the history of some of these companies, most are start-ups, and the state of the economy anything could happen.

So where does that learn us? If someone is looking for some sporty there wheel goodness, preferably in the near future whats there to choose from? Not that I wouldn't be interested in any of the above when they start to become available but one can wait forever. In some cases it's better to buy something thats available now if you have a current need and then consider trading when other options become available.

My thought here would be to start a running master list. Updated with specs and details. To help people get an idea of everything out there (and coming hopefully).

Thoughts anyone?

I think it'll be 5-10 years before I can afford any of these (without taking out at least $20k in loans) so I'm just having fun watching. Dagne has my vote for the joystick factor.

How about Revolution Motors Dagne and Campagna Motors V13R get together and hybridize a tilting vehicle? Dagne x V13R = Hybrid Love Child. Just a thought.

Dagne is supposed to be a hybrid. What is there to gain from V13R?

Absolutely right W1!

The love child I want would be Dagne's tilt tech, joystick control, PHEV... married to that incredible body on the VTR Cycles "S". HOT ROCKETS!!

Of course , some of the design elements on the "S" do not lend themselves to tilt, and would have to be changed. After all, it looks to be side-by-side. But the basic shape? WHOOEE!

Absolutely right. It is a side by side two seater. It's esseytually an updated version of the T-Rexx in rolling stock / kit form.

Dagne's tilt tech, joystick control and PHEV on the already in production advantage of the V13R. A partnership with somebody (Campagna) who actually got a concept vehicle rolling off the assembly line. It looked a little like Dagne with a pop off top and at $40k getting closer (within $15k of my personal budget). If the V13R was engineered to lend itself to Dagne's 45 degree tilt I would buy it. It was a fun, rather sporty vision.

Guess what? There is such list at pluginamerica.org. And the list includes 2 wheel, 3 wheel, 4 wheel and commercial vehicles! Check it out.

And also guess what? The Persu vehicle "was" on their list a couple of weeks ago and is now gone. Okay, what did they find out that made them remove it?

Ya, I've seen their list. Good list. Last time I checked the Persu was on there as well. I wonder why it's gone?

My other reason for starting "this" list was to focus on sporty three wheel rides in general. The Plug In America list focuses on electrics or plug in electric hybrids as I recall and while thats what I would prefer I'm not going to throw an awesome three wheel gas combustion ride off the list.

=)

Could it be that they discovered that the Persu Hybrid is not going to be coming out for a while, and thought that it was premature to have on their list?

Nope, the PlugInAmerica list is dominated by vehicles that aren't coming out for a few years. It's only in the 2 & 3 wheel section that there are a number of currently selling choices.

Well, the only other thing that I would guess is that they got as ticked-off as I did, and decided to just take them off their list without giving them a call.

But, hey, it's only a guess!
