Hey everyone, my name is mike and this is my first post on here and I would like to say that I am here to support Persu mobility and there new (well not anymore) concept, the Persu Hybrid. I'm really excited for Persu to hook up with some big auto manufacturer to get this thing on the road so i can fly it. I was disappointed when the carver one fell threw (even though it was way out of my price range), but then I found Persu and didn't want the same to happen to them. So now, when Persu shows that big auto manufacturer the member number of the club there will be one more to help convince him. So, hopefully Persu Mobility can get their hybrid into production. Oh, and I can't forget about Dagne too. Best of luck to them also in there quest for production of their vehicle as well. Thanks for creating this site, it will hopefully help the development of the Persu Hybrid and Dagne concept into a reality. 2thumb:up

Welcome to the club, erric288! wel;co;m;e101))

Hopefully, with the support of club members like you, Persu and RM will get their vehicles to market. I know that we can truly aid both companies with our vocal support.

Please feel free to jump into any of the discussions, and, again, welcome to our little group of enthusiasts.

OK, that does it for me. First the Up For Sale thread vanishes (just like a few other threads have lately) and now this vanilla piece shows up out of nowhere, written by someone with no control of the English language.
Derwin, you've crossed the line, and not for the first time either. You're no better than the people at Persu. You deserve each other. Fine with me, I have much better things to do with my time than waste them here.
To Ben and Eric: make that one more Dagne enthusiast that will no longer put up with the hypocrisy of this site. Lord knows I've given it more chances than it deserved.

RAN.... out!

Wow! Don't know where that's coming from! du:n:n:o(

All I did was welcome this new member who happens to be in love with the Persu Hybrid and Dagne concepts. After all, that is what this site is all about... SUPPORTING the companies that are trying to come out with these tilting three wheel vehicles. And that's all I've done here. If you think that I "crossed the line" by doing this, then I'm very sorry. But, again, that's what this club is, and always has been, about.

I truly believe what the people at Revolution Motors have said.... They said that clubs like this are an ASSET to their companies, and we do indeed aid them, even in a small way, as they attempt to obtain financial backers.

Whatever the case, I am very happy to offer my support, and the support of this club, to any and all companies coming out with unique vehicles like the Persu Hybrid and the Dagne.

I'm sorry if that was my fault, but I really do like the idea of the Persu Hybrid. If it doesn't ever come to be, then so be it. My life will go on. I'll be once again disappointed, but I'll get over it. I don't know what hypocrisy your talking about. The site has a goal, and it sticks to it. You don't have to be on this site 24/7 "wasting your time", once in a while is fine checking for updates or discussing various things. By leaving your only hurting the companies chances. It's a shame. And this is an online forum not an English essay, I got my point across so stop trying to insult me. Get over yourself.

And thanks Derwin for welcoming me. Hope my support helps.

No need to apologize, my friend. You obviously became a member because you love these concept vehicles, and hope they will be made available.

Well, that's what attracted ALL of us to this club in the beginning!

wel;co;m;e101))Welcome to the club erric228. I sense you think RAN was insulting you on your first post...............I think those comments were directed at Derwin. I'm sure someone will tell me if I'm wrong. It seems the club has been alittle on edge lately. Actually, I have had what I think is a little dialog going with RAN on a couple of threads and I respect his common sense postings on this site over time. It is a loss if RAN leaves the Club. Again, I really do not think he was being critical of your post.

Well, your only HALF wrong! He was insulting me, as well as erric288. Here is the part about erric...

...and now this vanilla piece shows up out of nowhere, written by someone with no control of the English language.

It's clear to see that RAN was attacking him by saying that he is a "vanilla piece" that "shows up out of nowhere", and that has "no control of the English language".

I'm sorry, but I just don't think it's right to insult other human beings like this. You know the saying... those that live in glass houses shouldn't throw stones. Below is a grammatical error that RAN made in that very same post:

Fine with me, I have much better things to do with my time than waste them here.

Is it "things" that RAN is wasting? No. He is obviously talking about "time", and therefore the sentence should have been structured differently. The last part should have been "...my time than to waste it here."

But you know... this club is NOT an English class. People come from all different backgrounds, and may not exactly use the "kings english" as it's meant to be used. So what? It's no big deal, and I really don't think it's polite to point out peoples errors in spelling or grammar in forums like this. It's just not polite.

But, anyway, RAN was indeed coming at him on his very first post to this club. Not cool at all.

I agree that RAN has contributed a great deal to a lot of the discussions, but, unfortunately, he just does not like Persu Mobility at all. He did in the beginning, and I'm sure he'll come on here to state that, but his "enthusiasm" has more than waned over the past couple years, as has mine. One huge difference, though, between him and I, is that I haven't thrown Persu out. I really believe that they are doing all they can to produce the vehicle, but are running into some financial problems, as is most every company out there. If they had access to the same bail-out money that GM is getting, I'm sure we'd see the Persu Hybrid in our driveways next year!

But RAN has decided to go "anti-Persu" with all his might. That's his option, and I'm sure many are of the same mindset due to the lack of information coming from the company. Heck, I have even had my "moments" over the past month in regards to Persu. But at the end of the day, I've realized that either they come out with the vehicle, or they don't. I'm just here to "enjoy the ride" watching them TRY! And if they don't succeed, then we have other companies to turn our attention towards.

I truly believe that there will be SOME company that comes out with a very nice Tilting Three Wheel Hybrid. I'm hoping it will be either Persu Mobility or Revolution Motors. But, either way, we WILL see this happen.

I don't feel particulary good about being half wrong or right..........keep in mind I don't think either one of you needed to be insulted and is not what the club is about. Certainly not a good welcome to the club but erric288 you did stand your ground on the rebuttal post.........way to go! Derwin you are right on about PM or RM getting their vehicles to market...........one or hopfully both will succeed and the winner will be setting in our driveways.

Derwin, I can see how RAN got the feeling he had with his remarks. It sounded like a put up post to give you a reason to not get rid of the website.

I was wondering who would buy it myself. It would have to be someone in the club with time and resources to keep it up or it would go a completely different direction. That would leave me out, although I enjoy the information shared here. I do wish things would move more quickly in getting one of these to market. My wife wants me to buy a Goldwing since we sold our last bike about 15 years ago and she still enjoys the thrill. Oh well!!!

Well, that's the problem with so many people.... Their so caught up in so many "conspiracy theories" that whenever they turn around, that's all they see. It's a damn shame.

To be perfectly clear... I do NOT know who this new member is. Maybe erric288 can introduce himself, and give us a little background.

There is NO "conspiracy" to "not get rid of the website".... Good grief!

I don't understand how ANYBODY can "see" how RAN got that feeling. Not at all. I just can't see it. Look... If I sell the club, then I sell it. If I don't, then I don't. I don't need to create some "reason" to sell it, for God's sake!

Anyway, I hope PM or RM will get moving. The natives are truly getting restless!

I for one hope Ran IS telling the truth THIS TIME and never comes back to this forum. He has been insulting and judging people for too long. But somehow I feel he will NOT go away quietly.

Derwin.... I feel your pain with this never-ending wait... with no feedback from Persu.
I have been following regularly and hope we get some much needed news from Persu soon so you decide to stick around. I for one would miss you.

OK, I'll introduce myself to prove that I'm not part of any conspiracy. I only saw Persu Mobility's and your site maybe 3 or 4 days ago and did not know about any of this until then.

My name is Mike and I'm from Lindenhurst NY. I'm 16 years old and going into my Junior year in High School. I'm just starting to learn how to drive so I was looking up different vehicles that I could purchase a little ways down the road. Since the Persu Hybrid isn't expected for a couple years, I figured that it would be a good vehicle to look into and support. And if I end up not even being able to purchase the Hybrid it will still at least help the environment. I'm just trying to help.

I figure that I'm a future customer and that this is a future car that I might as well support it now so I can drive it later. By the time it comes out I'll be in college and the '03 CR-V I'm using now will be close to death by then so it would be a perfect time to buy. :)

Mike, thanks for the little background info on yourself. I appreciate you posting that, even though you certainly did NOT have to do it.

I guess you may be a little bit bewildered at the responses to your first post! Well, we have a bit of a "background" ourselves as it relates to the club and Persu Mobility.

This club began back in 2007 as an enthusiasts club for the Persu Hybrid (formerly known as the VentureOne). The company had there own forum, and many of the members over there came here. We have been promised a great deal by the company over the past couple years, and most none of it has come to pass. So, as you might guess, many of us Persu supporters are really growing weary, and losing much of our original enthusiasm. I think that explains a lot of RAN's frustration, along with many others who may share his feelings.

But we are still a club who SUPPORTS the Persu company, as well as Revolution Motors, and any other company working on a vehicle like this.

I'm very happy that you found us, and I hope you overlook the "rocky" welcome that you received. We are all really just a bunch of people just like you, in that we desire to see this vehicle come to market.

Here's hoping that the Persu Hybrid reaches the marketplace by the time you reach your first year in college!thu:mbs:up:22

Derwin was that you?(I kid Derwin). Nice to have a young man supporting Persu that obviously knows a fun ride (Maybe not the best date vehicle). I figure I'm a future customer too and at 62 by the time it comes out my wife will probably use it for my casket. Fun on Fly the Road while waiting for our dream vehicle. Thanks erric228 for not taking any CRAP from RAN. We lose an old member and gain a young member. Life has a way of balancing things out.

With any great servo system, when feedback is insufficient or over driven, the output swings are Rail to Rail. And so swings this place, Rail to Rail...

Will the world ever produce a single seat tiling vehicle that is economical? H___ if know?... But, I decide a long time ago; if I want one, I better get off my butt and started building it...

I read were GM is trying to work a deal with EBay to sell cars online... Some people like the idea, if they fall for it, they'll still own a GM piece of crap…. I guess maybe EBay customer service will be as good as GM dealer service was right before the dealers were forced out of business by GM management and the UAW.

Will this post get lost? probably!

eric288 - I think most of us on this forum are at least twice your age, and have maybe become a bit cynical in our old age:). But most of us try not to take ourselves to seriously, we all want our tilting vehicle now before we have to call another type of "mobility" company sc:oo:t:e:r4. Anyway, hopefully in the very near future we will all be happy in our new tilting road flyers (made by whomever). Oh and wel;co;m;e101))
