Also 'flip' through the 'Thesis' section to see the development process.
I wish Vv would have done this 'homework' FIRST, then I would have a bit more 'faith' in their ability to bring the 'Vhatever' to market.
I don't know how the 4-wheeler will stack-up to US safety standards, but a LOT of THOUGHT went into this concept.:p

Seems like you are easier to impress with a bunch of pictures put into a photo album and set to music.
And No this will never pass US regulations for Auto safety (it's a car not a motorcycle), bumper height, crash worthiness and the list goes on...

Hey Vv has very few 'Pictures' and NO music. (Actually NO pictures of their FINAL design yet.)
If you look at the 'Thesis' photo section (no music), the diagrams at the end show the 'structural', 'propulsion' and other features, that Venture Vehicles has YET to disclose (if they have developed them yet). At least the "Catablade", has decided upon a Name, and a Design (while Vv is still working on theirs---Final Design selection by EOY--clock is ticking down). ?? Another 'slipped' Deadline??
'Bumper Height' may be a problem, but the 'side outriggers' would provide some 'side-impact' protection, and with a good 'roll cage' and air-bag setup, I bet it could be as safe as the 'Vhatever', but I doubt that it would come in under $20k.

Too bad it is a thesis and not a commercial enterprise. But then again if it was commercial you would not be seeing all those drawings.

I chatted with Francis, the designer of the Catablade, he sounds ambitious, but it's a shame he can't get the funding. There is a few design flaws, but I'm sure he can get it out, if the funding was there.
