Hello. vBulleting just came out with a new product called "Publishing Suite 4.0" which will contain an entirely new look and new and exciting features that will be available to all club members. I just purchased a "Pre-Release" license, and should be getting the download of it shortly.

With this new software, club members will be able to create personal Blogs and will have access to article based CMS publishing. There will be more fun widgets added to the club to make this an enjoyable place to spend some time.

I'm investing more time and money into this club because I really and truly believe that we are on the edge of technological revolution, and I want this club, and all of you, to be front and center when it hits. I know it's been a pretty long road from when we began in 2007, but I also know that it will be worth the wait! Thanks to all of you who have stuck with this club through the good, as well as the bad times.

When I receive the download email from vBulletin telling me the new software is available, I'll begin the installation immediately. So don't be surprised if in the coming days or weeks you log on and see an entirely new club here....at least the way it looks, operates and performs!

Geez, D! After more than a year on this site I'm finally getting into it pretty good. Y'know, using the smileys and whatnot. Now you're telling me I'll have to start a new learning curve? Oh well! What are forum friends for, if not to dragoon you into improvement/ progress/ personal expansion? Bring it, baby! HA! FTR indeed!

and will continue to lead the charge here. You had me worried a few weeks ago. I'm very glad you have rediscovered the spark! This is your club, ultimately, so thanks for allowing all of us to enjoy it.

I'm very glad you have rediscovered the spark! This is your club, ultimately, so thanks for allowing all of us to enjoy it.

I appreciate your thought's and kind wishes.

One thing I have to correct you on, though. This is not "my club". This club belongs to ALL OF US as members. I am trying to create something here that each and every one of us can claim ownership in. Something that each of us feel's at "home" spending time at.

So, although I'm the crazy dude that got the ball rolling on this thing, I want everybody to know that we can all call this our home. thu:mbs:up:22 (I know that may sound corny! But that's really my goal for this place)

Derwin.......way to go on keeping the website current. It really is your baby and it is fun to visit a few times a day for shared info and comments even beyond PM. One day soon I will log on and you will be sharing latest PM announcements and updates and the excitement will rise to the levels of yesteryear. Thanks!

Yeah, I know. But my "baby" has been in the embryonic stage far too long!

Hopefully Persu will allow this club to have a FULL LIVE BIRTH with active OWNERS to talk about experiences, problems, solutions, etc. That is the day that I truly wait for and look forward to.

Derwin...............why don't you check with PM to see if they would send invitations to all the FTRC members for the official unveiling of the Production Persu Hybrid. A few members would probably get a kick out of being involved in all PR Hoopla and a get together for an official all member toast to PM's official "Godfather". It would be like a pre-rally. Call me crazy but it could be fun.

Well, as you probably noticed, I tried installing the new vBulletin Publishing Suite 4.0 today. As you also probably noticed, I screwed up the entire site!

Seems I did something wrong in the installation, and wiped out everything at our club. Luckily, though, I generated a complete backup of the site before doing the install, and all is back to normal now.

I'll see if I can get another person to install this new software for the club. I am a bit nervous about doing it again myself. I sure don't want to wipe out over 2 years of discussion and club history!

Anyway, I am truly sorry for the inconvenience that this may have caused.

Thank you all for your patience.

As you probably noticed, I just completed the installation of new software for our club website. Everything is up and running now, but there is a lot of work to be done until everything is showing up just as we want it to show up.

If you have any questions about anything, please feel free to contact me personally. And thank you all so very much for your patience.

By the way.... God Bless Everyone, and have a very Merry Christmas!

This new software cost me a chunk of change, brother, and has a TON of features that the old software just did not have.

As I said, though, we just got it up and there is a lot of things that we have to do to get everything activated and in order. But don't worry, I'm sure that everybody will LOVE this new site once we complete everything.
