Hey all,
Well, it's been a long time since I last visited and posted here, but I've kept tabs now and then. The new info on the Dagne I found to be real interesting. It seems that interest in tilting vehicles is increasing and the major car manufacturers are starting to get in on the act again, too. BMW's new tilting concept, Nissan Land Glider concept car, etc.

Part of my absence was my moving to Round Rock, TX, and trying to settle into a new job closer to home there. Moving closer to EE Stor's headquarters has unfortunately shed no new light on their goings on for me, either, though I've had enough to keep me busy that I haven't really actively pursued such. But it now looks as though other companies are pursuing both improved lithium-ion technology as well as ultracapacitors that the gap may finally be closing up to make batteries and electric cars competitive enough with gas cars in terms of capacity and range.

One interesting development not too far from me, but Dell's headquarters out here in Round Rock has installed solar panels in their parking lot. Currently they're giving power to their buildings, but they were also designed to allow electric and plug-in hybrids to be able to plug in at work for free charging. I drive by there every day on my way to work. I'm hoping other businesses in town might soon follow suit. Here's an article on it with a picture:

While I still hold out hope for Persu to come through with something, I think there is definitely a building of enough interest in such vehicles now that it's not so much a question of if someone will finally produce a viable tilting two-passenger hybrid or electric vehicle, but of who will bring one to market first.
