Would that VV's concept vehicle were part of the race--that'll give them a run for the X prize.

The only thing that bothers me, and I'll be the first, and not the last to say it. What would the prize be?

I'm sure money has something to do with it, and probably a substantional amount of it. But why does this world revolve so heavily on money, it bothers me, the oil billionares want more, and the list is almost endless. How much money is enough?=n:

What, they have more money than all of us put together, and that makes them better than us? :eek: Most likely they got their money from past generations, and didn't make it themselfs. If they actually had to go out and get a "normal" job, they'd be lost. McDonalds wouldn't hire 'em.

I guess my problem is, we shouldn't be in this position to begin with, we pay money for the government to do us right, and look at what happens.:o

I suppose this post doesn't fit here, but I had to vent somewhere..

Right now the 'Prize" is estimated to be around $10mil, divided between the 'mainstream' (four wheels; 4 pax) and the 'alternative' (less than 4 wheels, >1 pax). The money is not to entice those that already have it; GM, Ford, BMW, etc. but the small, inovative person/company.
