My wish list, hmmm thats something to think about so I did.
I wish a car company of any size start up or big conglomerate would get on the ball and design something even remotely close to what everyone on here has been drooling over for years.
I wish that it was priced comparable to other well known autos out there on the market I understand you have to make money but dont over price it and you will sell the BEJESUS out of it.
I wish it to have options like solar powered ac units, decent responsivness and overall decent build. (no exotic carbon fiber or Burl Wood needed) just do a good job on the basic materials and finish)
I wish it to get at least 60mpg with a peppy 0-60 (do not need a formula 1 just get me on the highway and let me pass when needed).
I wish it to tilt (my personal taste)
I wish it to be fairly easy to service (remember when changing a water pump was not a HUGE PAIN IN THE REAR TO DO).
I wish it to enjoy a huge aftermarket parts/accessories market.

After seeing what car companies can do (i.e. VW etc...) I would guess that if a company did the above they would destroy all competitors and rake in the profits.

Anyway if I posted in a wrong area or anyone gets mad at my venting my frustration then "I am truly sorry"

Derwin keep up the great job on this site and maybe one day we will all be posting pics here of our great, fun rides.

Sincerely, Jarrett

I totally agree with the above post. A few additions:

I wish for them to make it look nice, unlike some of the horrible cars that are out there today.
I wish it would be able to have a minimum top speed of 100mph, at least for a burst
I wish for it to not be huge. Most of the time, there's only 1 person in the car at a time, but there should still be a second seat)
I wish for it to be practical for daily use. (Grocery shopping, commuting to work/school, short road trips(50-100miles))
I wish it would work well in all road conditions, especially snow.
I wish it to be safe!

The Carver/Persu Hybrid were just the right size for this. Small enough that it gets great mpg and is fun to drive, yet not so small that it's unsafe or uncomfortable for people (I'm 6'2").

There were only two problems that I could see with the Carver from here in Colorado:
1. It was built in Europe and, therefore, hard to get ahold of here.
2. Since it was hand built instead of being on a production line, it was way to expensive (especially for a college student like me)

....JKBuster

Not just hard to get hold of - - The motor was not US emmission certified, therefore, not legal to import without a conversion.

Check out eco3 commuter vehicle, 60 plus MPG, three wheeler, converatable, and extras. Will be listed as a car in Connecticut so no special liscense needed. Arriving this month and will be available at dealers in mid August. http://www.ecomotorcompany.com/
I also contacted Dagne Revolution Motors. CEO says:
Hi Bruce,

We are earnestly pushing forward on the fundraising front so we can initiate the next steps in development and production. As soon as the required capital is secured we will announce a revised timeline and resume regular posts on our progress. Timeline from next steps to initial production will be about 3 years.

Thank you for your continued interest and patience.

Sincerely,
Ben Werner, CEO
Revolution Motors

They are in the same boat as most others. I forsee no luck in a tilting vehicle until at least 2014, if someone gets lucky with investors this year. But I will still hope and will still purchase when and if they ever come out.

Welcome to the club, Bruce! wel;co;m;e101))

I've had many conversations with Ben and RM, and he seems to be a very nice guy. Actually, we have an entire section of this website dedicated to Revolution Motors and the Dagne. At a brief moment, I was even considering dedicating this entire club to the Dagne, but then I realized that they are in the exact same position as Persu...... They need money!

I'm 44 years old at the current time, and I sure hope they come out with this vehicle before I'm old enough to be a member of AARP!

Derwin..................That's only 6 years before you receive your AARP Membership invitation. The good news is that I've been an AARP member for 13 years and I can still drive. The bad news is that I've been an AARP Member for 13 years and will still be waiting for a FTR vehicle in 2016.
