It's never too soon to start planning that order sheet.

Jimminy Christmas, let the guys build the company first!
Although... maybe primer gray should be an option so we can have it painted any color we want.

Guess I should have said "eventually" huh. But then this is a wish list isn't it.
OK, How 'bout this. When they get a bit further along I want to see color chips!
I think that primer might be a good idea too if you know how to paint and have the time and facilities to do it right.
I can imagine how much a really professional paint job on the V1 might cost if you had it done.

Yep, this thread is a WISH LIST of those things that we would LIKE to see on the V1 eventually. I wouldn't mind a couple side missles attached, just like the guy on Top Gear stated! ;)

Well it is my understanding the V1 body panels will be made with high density thermal plastic which means no painting will be involved! the color will be added to the plastic! so there you go! Although I too would like to see the colors they will go with!

On the pre-production, add-me-to-your-list-of-potential-owners found on the FlyTheRoad website, they offered several colors that I would consider. I chose yellow because it's bright, so I'll be seen by other motorists. Blind spots will no doubt swallow up this stealthy vehicle.
That, and I like bright, cheerful colors. Heck, my last Mustang was "Grabber" orange! ;)

Amen Brudda! If they offered the V1 in Grabber Orange I would have to change my yellow choice. I love that color. But then again I loved Plum Crazy Purple too.
God I miss the Good-Ole-Days back in the seventies.

I would like to see some flat colors, such as a flat white.

If you are gonna go with flat they need to make it black and give it black rims! they could call it the black ops edition!

Why not fighter jet gray?

nvrblu, blending in with concrete might not be your best option....figuratively or actually.:) I can still apply paint to the thermal plastic panels can't I? I am "leaning" towards some color shifting multi layered art work in translucent yellows over a chrome base with prismatic sparkles!
Gotta have a Dream....cause if you don't have a dream, how you gonna have a dream come true?

I gotta see pics of this. That will make you visible to the cages!

Actually, I was just kidding about the jet fighter grey.
Any bright color except red... when you're color blind like me, red is a hard color to see. That would probably also be true for 5-7% of the male poplulation.
Yellow seems to be the easiest to see under most lighting conditions. Being easy to spot in a small vehicle, I feel, is very important.
I drive a Lotus Elise that's painted "Laser Blue". It's a good daytime color, but not as visible as yellow after the sun goes down.

Here's another example of chamelion paint on steroids....this is actually a
film over base color, which is invisible until hit by direct sunlight or incandescents....go to www.alsacorp.com and look under products/paint and
additives....awsome stuff!

I have heard these paints as my wife works in color matching at PPG. I have never seen an actual example on the road though. I have to say the two examples you showed are awesome looking. It would look great on a V1!

How about a Body Wrap, applied by Aurora Graphics [net], as an option (like a color choice), especially if it was attached to the inside surface of a translucent body of the V1. http://www.auroragraphics.net/
Here are a couple of my favorate wraps:

This is cool and kinda looks like the post Prismacoat Xtreme! (http://www.flytheroadclub.com/forums/showpost.php?p=2551&postcount=15) by cpaddock.

Wow! That is some awsome stuff! Is it a vinal applique? I would be concerned about
longevity/durability/colorfast-ness. I'm sure it would be quicker and less expensive than
actual paint and airbrush work done by a skilled artist. It would require a highly experienced technician to apply it successfully.
The things you can do with computers these days, huh?!!!
Aloooooha!
