I know I am "late" to the game, but I just found out about this Pulse Jet vehicle. I think it is pretty neat. I must say that it looks a little "clunky" , and that it is NO WAY near as CLEAN looking, or as FUN to drive as the V1, but I think it would be cool to own. I just placed a bid at ebay on one of these. We will see if the seller accepts my offer!

I saw that on ABG, and read up a little on it last time it was mentioned. I dunno how I missed hearing about this when they were actually being built (but then, we've all gotten spoiled with the "information hwy"). Bede was definitely ahead of his time.

I have been keeping up with this vehicle for some time. I saw those two on ebay. Did you offer on the silver one or the yellow one? Good luck, I hope the owner accepts your offer.

Keep us informed! =y:

BTW, did you know that even though it has four wheels it is still classified as a three wheeler? It only has three wheels at a time on the road.

I submitted a bid on the Yellow model, but I don't really know if he will accept the offer. I think $9,500 is reasonable, but he is asking about double that in the buy it now option. Well, if he accepts it, than I will own a piece of history, and I'll post a gazillion photos in this forum! I have to say, though, that I like the ones with the wings in the rear. Maybe I could add these later.

I'm pretty sure those wings were added after the fact as were the fake tail engine nacelles. Very cool though.

I have a question though. How big is your garage?;)

Just checked the auctions and the silver one is not for sale anymore and he declined an offer of 15K. Given it was a Coors Silver Bullet and a GoldWing based unit I can see declining 15K.

Like I said, good luck!

Hi Derwin,

Give this link a look. Click Here (http://blog.autocycles.org/phpbb/viewtopic.php?t=620&sid=05e3eacff9012bae15ac9611527be5e4)

The owner of those two LiteStars has some comments.

Mark,

I clicked on the link, and it took me to a forum. Where is the seller of the one I bid on making a comment? I couldn't find anything.

As far as the Yellow one that is still left, I offered $9,500 for it. I don't really expect him to accept the offer, but I thought it wouldn't hurt to at least TRY! I'm not that thrilled about getting it, but for $9,500 I wouldn't mine having it.

I don't think I would put that in my garage! The driveway would have to be it's home for now, at least until I can find something else for it.

Chip Pearce is the owner. He is commenting on having to many of the vehicles not commenting on the sale.
Sorry, I should have put that in the previous post.

I dunno Derwin... he's selling them because a) he's running out of $$, and b) it's hard to find someone to work on them.

Well, He still did NOT reject my offer yet, so maybe I really may get this thing! I'll tell you what, that would be EXCELLENT advertising for this club. I would plaster on each side of the vehicle the name of our club website. That would get attention! And I think it really goes with the club, since it does look like a plane "flying the road".

Anyway, my offer is only good for another 30 or so hours, so I guess we'll find out on Friday at the very latest, unless he rejects it sooner.

I've never seen those before. They're wild. That aerial view makes me think of the Shriners riding their go karts at parades; they look so small!

I actually saw one of these Pulse Jet Vehicles for sale on EBAY last week, don't know if it's still there or not, haven't checked for a few days.

Here's some other Persu style rides which were actually in limited production back in the 80's & 90's. They weren't tilters and looked more like planes but there is some similarly is design concept and ran off of modified motercycle parts.

We have a thread already created for this, and it is located here....

http://flytheroadclub.com/forums/showthread.php?t=331&highlight=Pulse+Autocycles

I actually created the thread back in March.

FYI... Whenever you find something that you want to post about a vehicle, use the "search" feature in the main top bar first. That way you'll know if we already have a discussion going on it or not.

I'm going to MOVE these posts to the thread that already exists.

They are definitely fun to drive and until Venture or someone else comes out with something better, I'm definitely holding onto mine.

The wings aren't fake. These are outriggers that stabilize the vehicle. The rear rudder elevator added to some of these vehicles are "fake".

They don't by default lean into turns, however one owner refit his outriggers so that his vehicle will do this.
