I thought you all should know...
Incase you hadn't noticed, our FlyTheRoad Club site has been down for the last day and a half.... as has all the other websites hosted on the server..... along with 9000 other servers located at the data center where our server is hosted.
Apparently on Saturday evening there was an electrical explosion/fire of some type at the data center which knocked out power to the entire building. No employees or servers were lost or damaged in the explosion.... though it did displace 3 of the building's walls! They've been working around the clock to get everything restored - luckily we were among the servers in the less-damaged phase of the building. Others weren't so lucky and are still without power.
Just wanted to personally apologize for the downtime. I know technically this was entirely out of my hands - I just know how sick I was going even only a day and a half without Our Club - so I know what many of you are going through too! http://trikketalk.com/vb/images/smilies/icon_lol.gif Sorry about that!

And just to let you know, to further put your mind at ease, had we lost the server in the explosion, daily backups are always automatically generated and sent to an off-site server to be retained for daily, weekly, and monthly intervals. I still can't apologize enough for the downtime. Looks like things are back to normal now, though it MIGHT be possible things might flicker on and off over the next coming weeks I'm sure as the building is put back together again.
