I just had a fellow member ask me about this unique scooter from Yamaha.

I was curious about any information you or other club members may have found on the Hagane Tilting 3 Wheel Custom Yamaha Scooter. I read a Jan 18, 2007 Kneeslider article with photos of this vehicle and I said WOW. There was mention of possible production of this vehicle but I haven"t been able to find any additional info.

Man, this thing really looks incredible. I would take this over my Spyder in a heart-beat!

If anybody knows anything about this fantastic tilting 3-wheeler, please post it here. Thanks.

From what I can tell, this is a one-off custom build. While there was some talk of it going into production last year (although it's unclear by whom; It's not even known for sure whether Yamaha built this one), it appears to be just talk. There's no mention of it popping up anywhere after Jan 2007.

Sort of cool looking, but all that neat electronics (and me) would really get soaked in our frequent bouts of Florida 'liquid sunshine' that pop up most afternoons during the summer.
That's why I really want the V~1 and even the 'VogueOne' or little v~1 since they offer some rain protection.

Hey, rog......The trike in that video is not the same thing. It has 2 wheels in the back, where the Hagane has the 2 wheels up front like the CanAm Spyder. So far, I think we have to go with the idea that this is just a prototype, or a "home built" unit. But keep looking....I'm sure if there's something to find out there, you will surely find it! Your researching skills are far better than mine! =y:

Really, Derwin? Perhaps that is why I stated; "Well anyway, it IS a Yamaha:", because it was Not the same, but was also a 'strange' trike made by Yamaha. Couldn't find anything like the one you posted.:( Must be a design concept bike.

Sorry about that, I must have misunderstood your post. Anyway, both vehicles seem pretty nice.

I'll tell you what...... Over the past several months of talking about LEANING vehicles, I'm starting to reconsider my purchase of the CanAm Spyder. I love the way it looks and rides, but it sure don't lean! I put $1,000 down-payment on it, and it is a non-refundable deposit. Hmmmm. Right now I am thinking I would rather have a vehicle that leans.

So, if you know of any vehicles (like the Spyder) that lean in turns, and is available NOW or very soon, please let me know. I think I'm starting to get cold feet on my Spyder order.

Go back to the video of the orange VougeOne and in the sub-headings you will see a video for the Italia Jet Scoop!
