New incentives in California for ZEVs and Alternative energy... check out the link.

Maybe this will be positive for VV?

The incentives seem to be limited to Zero Emissions Vehicles, which the hybrid V-1 is NOT. Maybe in light of this shift, VV will decide to produce the EV version 1st.

Nice find nvrblu. The way I read it all those incentive tax breaks would apply to VV also for the EV V1. Wonder if Ian has seen it yet?

Go ahead.. Submit your cost of the RC VV to the California gov. Possibly they will see fit to Reimurse you....??? but don't hold your breath...

I am hoping that some sort of "rebate" might be available by the time that OUR full size Venture vehicles are available???

That was an interesting press conference. I think the Governator made a few good points, and he fielded questions very candidly. I was impressed. One thing I found interesting was that he said small, innovative companies like Tesla will find that the bigger automakers will seek to HELP them (read: invest in them so they can share in the loot!).

Also keep in mind that the Guvernator is still waiting for the Tesla he ordered to be delivered...

Someone posted these images to another auto forum. It seems the Gov. just bought a new car. These pictures were taken 6/28 (or 6/29) where the CA. Gov. was driving his brand new Hemi! (still with temp registration tags). Of course, he had his entourage three Subruban's to keep him safe ...

That's funny. That's how we know he's in town. Those Suburbans and the motorcycle cops.
