View Full Version : Is this hype?
Are the developers of the V1 just holding out on production in order to enter the fuel technology contest in the US?This is sad to have the technology here, tested and proven in the Netherlands and not have the means to sell the V1 or Carver in the US.This vehicle will out sell everything, there will be so many V1's on the road that might hurt the US automakers which is why the feds are making the regs tough here,I guess in order to experience the V1/Carver one will have to visit the Netherlands, right?Because it's a long road to wait in limbo just leading us to dream.

If you can blow about $48K, you can get a Carver and bring it back on a boat.

Walt,
I think some things have to be cleared up. The Carver technology is indeed available NOW, and Venture Vehicles has purchased the rights to that technology for North America. But Venture Vehicles is not simply building a U.S. version of the Carver. They are designing and building an entirely new type of vehicle, with the exception of the tilting tech. This new vehicle will be in the form of a Hybrid, and then another will be the EV model. What Carver has built is a nice tilting vehicle with an ICE. What Venture Vehicles is attempting to do is build an entirely new vehicle using entirely NEW technology. This is where people are getting a bit confused.
Hope this cleared it up at least a little.:)
