MM89; I'm about 1/2 through 'General Discussions' threads, and haven't seen it yet but I've got a hand full of ideas that are new and a bunch that are 'repeats' of what AZ posted. Once we get through the 6,000+ posts, I'm sure it will be there. If not we can always add it. Should be another day or so.

We have a couple suggestions close to it.
12. RLIR
28. Discreet Cameras for 360 recording and viewing
But just for you I added
121. Rear view Camera system
Like Rog said we have a ton of threads to go through to try to itemize the list and haven't got to them all yet.

For the FAQs section of the forum:
1) I'd like to suggest a taxonomy and definition of terms--for example, I understand what LED and GPS mean, but I'm not entirely clear what or why one would want or need HUD, FLIR, RLIR in a V1.
2) I also see the need, as Rogwild has often suggested, for an event/milestone timeline/calendar. There are many things we know from VV statements that are coming down the pike—the promised podcasts, the now bi-Friday updates, the video interviews, the design freeze by end of 2008, prototypes by ??? (what's the date again?), production late 1st quarter 2009.
3) The “Questions for Ian” thread is a cache of questions and answers about the V1 that is of major interest to V1 enthusiasts. Compiling them in a readily accessible FAQs section means less repeat questions. And gives an "encyclopedia" of known facts about the V1—which, of course, will be added to as the V1 project progresses.
A well organized FAQs will enable newcomers who find their way into the flytheroad community to get "up to speed" in quick time.
On a different note, I'm finding this forum difficult to navigate, and understand that Derwin has allowed moderators free reign on reformatting its organization. It's noteworthy to mention here that inspite of some major shortcomings, VV's forum format is extremely well laid out and organized. Perhaps a similar topics organization can be implemented here.
Kudos to everyone here who have given their time and resources in building this site--and community.

That's what's so neat! The cup holder doesn't need to tilt since the whole passenger compartment does. It's like the ultimate solution for spilled coffee.

I think it is going to be wild for all those people that tilt themselves inside their vehicle to ride in one where you get to experience some low G's and get the vehicle tilted. If you haven't ridden a motorcycle hard you just haven't felt that cool sensation on the ground. I will really have to get Bondurant to let me drive it on their test track.
Maybe someone can set up a test track just for V1's to let you really drive a V1 Hard, in a relative safe environment.
Oh man V1 racing on a GT type track... I'd pay to see that!!

Good idea!!! Why not try to see if you can set up a rally for that location after we get our V1s! Heck I am not that far away AZ, Count me in!

My wife did some art work for the guy that owns Bondurant ... when we get our V1's I will go show it to him ... I'll bet he will want to set up some driver training with them. When there are some official drawings for the new design I will talk it up to the guy.

Some of those options are cool, some are easy to intergrate, and some are a real pain! I bet Ian would die if he seen it!
